Set off today with Sue driving the first 110 km to Halls Creek. I then took over and drove a further almost 200 km before stopping at Ngumban Cliff Lookout Rest Area for lunch. We saw a number of wedge-tail eagles along the way before arriving at Fitzroy Crossing at around 2.30 p.m. We set up camp at Fitzroy River Lodge and Camping Area and took advantage of the resort pool to cool off. A quick trip around town didn't impress so we returned and continued reading our books as once again television reception was sadly lacking.
