We got up reasonably early today and after a quick breakfast we drove to Burrungkuy in time to join the ranger guided tour of the rock art there. The young man (early twenties) proved to be an excellent informative guide and so we enjoyed our walk in the cool of the shade provided by the rocks while he explained what was what. Following this tour we drove back to the campsite for lunch and a swim to cool off. Then it was off to another ranger guided tour - this time driving via Cahills Crossing to the Ubirr rock art site. This was a beautiful location and the rock art was exceptionally beautiful. We also walked to the top of the rocky outcrop to Nadab lookout and admired the stunning views over the lush grasslands and marshlands set out below us. Eventually we returned to our campground and settled in for a night of television after dinner.
