Following a full cooked breakfast this morning we set off to visit Gantheaume Point near Broome. This an area of outstanding natural beauty on the coast with the rich red rocks that feature in this Point and also some dinosaur footprints which can be seen here. Also of interest was the Osprey nest built on a lookout tower nearby. After enjoying this area we headed back to town where we again visited the museum to watch videos about the World War II air raids and the pearling industry. Then it was off to the Town Beach and the nearby shopping area. Here we had lunch, falafels as I recall, followed by a walk on the Croc Jetty. Then back to the Caravan Park for a rest before later taking a bottle of wine and heading to Cable Beach to watch the sunset over the Indian Ocean. The evening was then spent watching some televisison and catching up with friends by phone.
