We packed up the motorhome while watching three sets of a US Open semi-final between Rafael Nadal and Juan Martin Del Potro. En route we stopped at Coles in Broome fora big grocery shop to restock our motorhome before then driving the 320 km to Sandfire Roadhouse. The countryside en route was flat and uninteresting with low scrub and no interesting features to speak on. The Sandfire Roadhouse campground had quite a few peacocks, chickens and a camel to amuse us. That evening Sue received some awful news regarding the son of a friend who had taken his own life and needless to say this has made us both feel terribly sad and concerned for the friend and partner's welfare.
