Spent part of the morning watching a US Open women's semi-final tennis match on television before then having breakfast and donning bathers for a day at the beach. We walked from the Caravan Park to Cable Beach and swam between the flags several times interspersed with having coffee at the beach cafe and reading books in the shade on the grass. then it was back to the Caravan Park for more swimming only this time in the rather large swimming pool. By then it was 3 p.m. and so we just hung around until it was time to catch the bus to the "stairway to the moon" event at the Town Beach and also the night markets.We enjoyed a delicious meal purchased from the street food vendors at the night markets and watched the reflections on the tidal flats known as "stairway to the moon" before heading home once again.
