Day 70 - Carnarvon to Northampton - 07 October 2017

We decided to visit the Carnarvon Tracking Station and associated museum before driving further today. Here we indulged in a simulated moon landing as well as many other hands on experiences. Another exhibit was the planetarium which gave one a degree of perspective as to how insignificant we and our planet are in relation to the cosmos as a whole. After all this we set off for Billabong roadhouse with Sue at the wheel. She drove the first 120 km to Wooramel roadhouse following which I took over. Instead of our intended destination we continued on to Northampton where we secured a powered site in an old but well maintained caravan park En route the landscape was flat and boring for the most part except for the beautiful wildflowers encountered after Wooramel. This evening saw me increase my meds to deal with my ongoing complaint.
