Day 75 - Peppermint Grove Beach to Darkan - 12 October 2017

Up early today with Sue and Carol going for a walk along the beach with Carol's two dogs. After a leisurely breakfast we set off for Busselton. Here we did the touristy thing and walked half the length of the Busselton Jetty, an iconic 1.8 km wooden pier with a train and an underwater observatory as part of it's structure. Following this we drove back to Bunbury where we had arranged to meet up with friends of our Toni and Greg who also own an Avan motorhome. We had lunch with them at "The Happy Wife" restaurant and enjoyed a few laughs over a meal before heading off once again. Our final destination was a council run camping ground at Darkan some 120 km east of Bunbury. This turned out to be excellent value at $18 per night for a powered site with new facilities.
