On waking we went for a quick walk along the beach before packing up in preparation of moving to Esperance. Our route took us firstly with a shortcut back to the main highway and via Stokes National Park. It was a warm and sunny day but also very windy. Wildflowers en route were a delight. On arrival we booked in the Esperance Bay Holiday Park after a quick grocery shop first. Then a lengthy chat with our youngest daughter and some domestic chores before setting off on a 40 km or thereabouts return drive to the west of Esperance on Twilight Beach Road. Stunning scenery along the way but a howling wind making it a little unpleasant.
