Today was a bit of a lazy day. We left Curtin Springs and headed to Kings Canyon in Watarrka National Park some 220 kms away on a very narrow sealed road. On arrival we concluded that it was too late to attempt the Canyon Rim walk today especially given the expected high temperature and the lack of shade on the walk itself. So for the remainder of the afternoon we simply chilled and read books before heading up to the viewing platform for sunset drinks before dinner. We had some television reception but no phone or internet access.
