After a lovely hot shower and a chat with our neighbours we set off today for the SA/NT border where Wikicamps showed there to be a 24 hour rest area with toilets and drinking water. Time passe quickly it seemed on the 400 km drive. We stopped for lunch at the small town of Marla. Sue also drove for some 150 km of the journey which gave me a break. Other than a couple of eagles en route wildlife was a bit scarce. We arrived at the border rest are at 3.50 p.m. and noted that this area was already filling up rapidly. Dinner and a movie rounded out our day.
